Hurtling across the snow covered landscape of Hardangervidda is a unique and special experience. Sled dogs doing what they love most will transport you almost silently through a winter wonderland.

Our intimate knowledge of this area enables us to create both shorter and longer trips to incredible parts of Europe’s largest mountain plateau. On all our dogsled tours you will learn how to comfortably and safely travel in winter. The sleds enable a self sufficient mode of travel through an untouched snow covered landscape with nights spent under star blanketed skies.

It is an activity for both groups and individuals and is perfect for families. Should you not feel like standing on the sled you can watch the landscape flow by wrapped warmly in reindeer skins. Anyone can travel by dogsled!

Depending on weather conditions we can cover large areas and get deep into the mountains, often without meeting other people. The sleds allow room for extra supplies and clothing so there is a relatively high comfort level. Our tours also include an authentic polar expedition touch. You can dress like a turn of the century explorer in sealskin clothing and eat traditional expedition provisions on your way to the ‘South Pole’, just like Scott and Amundsen.
